FSD 14.3 Lite reaches legacy Model S and Model X

FSD 14.3 Lite is now reaching legacy Model S and Model X cars with HW3 and the older Intel infotainment computer. According to Teslascope, this is the first time any of these cars has received a V14 Lite build.

What happened

Teslascope posted the news at 6:57 PM PT on October 13:

As we predicted a week ago...! LEGACY Model S and X have now received V14.3 Lite for the very first time. This is the very first occasion that any legacy Model S or X (HW3 + Intel) has received a V14 Lite build. IT HAS FINALLY HAPPENED.

Teslascope saw this coming. On October 7 it said it had "a good hunch" that 14.3 Lite would expand to more HW3 cars, including legacy Model S and X.

Why it matters

Per Teslascope, no legacy S or X with an Intel computer had a V14 Lite build until now. FSD 14.3 Lite takes what Tesla learned from HW4 V14 and brings it to HW3. It also adds parking, unparking and reversing, Arrival Options, and Speed Profiles that are available at all times. What we don't know yet

• Firmware: Neither post says which firmware the S and X cars got. 14.3 Lite has shipped so far on 2026.33.5, 2026.38.5 and 2026.38.5.1.
• Wave size: No word yet on how many cars are included, or in which regions.
• Owner reports: When we wrote this, we hadn't found any posts from legacy S/X owners showing the update in their own cars.
• Intel vs. AMD: Both posts are about Intel cars. We don't know how this rollout splits between Intel and AMD S/X cars.
