FSD Supervised is still not autonomous. For an attentive driver, a month-to-month subscription can be worth a trial. HW3 and HW4 are not running the same software.

Official 14.3.7 notes match 14.3.6. The useful change is the Aug 1–9 rollout, plus 14.1 Lite for HW3 on firmware 2026.21.6.

As of August 2026, HW4 runs FSD (Supervised) 14.3.7 while HW3 Model 3/Y runs 14.1 Lite on the same firmware family. Same supervised product name—different software branches.

Firmware 2026.21.6 (August 9, 2026) brings FSD (Supervised) 14.1 Lite to HW3 Model 3/Y—distilled from HW4 v14, not the same as HW4’s 14.3.7 on the same package.

From April through June 2026, FSD (Supervised) 14.3.2–14.3.4 layered a unified ASS/FSD/Robotaxi model, intervention feedback, summon speed, streaks, and Cybertruck summon—without rewriting the 14.3 stack.

FSD (Supervised) 14.3 on firmware 2026.2.9.6 (April 7, 2026) brought Tesla’s RL training upgrade, vision-encoder refresh, and MLIR compiler rewrite to HW4. Here is what the official notes actually say.

Tesla has sent out an email reminding owners that FSD (Supervised) is currently transferable to new vehicle purchases until March 31, 2026 for vehicles that have the FSD package purchased outright.
